πŸŽ“ Qualification

4th to 11th grade students who attend school in the United States of America.

⏱️ Exam Format and Duration

Questions:

  • Part 1: 20 multiple-choice questions
  • Part 2: 5 free response questions with integer-valued answers

Time Limits:

  • 4th and 5th grade: 50 minutes all together (Part 1 and Part 2)
  • 6th to 11th grade: 70 minutes all together (Part 1 and Part 2)

Your child(ren)'s score will be sent to HQ separately for the National competition. However, your child(ren) is(are) not eligible to receive the Philadelphia Chapter award.

KSEA Members

1st Child: FREE (Fee waiver)

Other Children: $20 per child ($15 discount)

For the active membership family.

  • Parent/Guardian email must match the KSEA registered email to get the discount.
  • Membership must be valid until 6/30/2026.

  • Chapter Selection: Please ensure you select the Philadelphia Chapter when registering. If you participate from another chapter territory, your score will be sent to the HQ for national competition, but you may not be eligible for local Philadelphia Chapter awards.

  • Physical Address: Please provide your accurate physical address. This is used to determine your local chapter and to send an award certificate or gift if you are eligible.
